Easter means Resurrection. Easter means celebration. And Easter, almost always, means family.
This year’s Easter, though, looks different. For the first time in, well, forever, churches will be empty at sunrise and beyond. In a first for most of us, extended families will not be gathering together for the traditional ham dinner and Easter Egg Hunt. Social distances will make Easter look different for all of us.
But that does not mean, in any way, that families will not be celebrating together. Though smaller and decidedly more nuclear in nature, people will still gather and celebrate. Easter Egg hunts will still happen and delicious meals will be served as families watch Easter services via Livestream and worship together.
And as they always do, our local restaurants are adapting with the times too and Easter brunch will still be served. This time, however, it will come in the form of a curbside pick-up package deal, sometimes complete with Easter Eggs to hide.
Easter dinner doesn’t have to be canceled either, and you don’t have to cook an entire banquet for your small family on your own. Many local restaurants are offering gourmet family meals, complete with sides and desserts, available for curbside pickup, ready to be reheated at your convenience.
But with so many choices, where should you go? Don’t worry, Frisco, we found the best and most delicious Easter meal options for you and gathered them into one article, making it easy to choose your celebration meal this week.
