Meet Shannon Hammond, the new Co-Owner of Countdown 2 Escape in the Rail District. Not long ago, after years of working and raising a family in Frisco, Shannon and her husband Fred decided that it was time for a new chapter. They considered opening a local business in the area but wanted to stay true their core values and passions.

When they found Countdown 2 Escape, it was a natural fit. Escape rooms encourage groups to connect, collaborate, and maybe even set their phones down for a little while. Shannon and Fred value the encouragement that true connection provides, and encourage their guests to stay awhile and enjoy the space, play games and hang out as long as they like.

Our conversation was recorded in the lobby of their downtown Frisco business, which – if you haven’t been in lately – has been completely refreshed into a very inviting and cozy space perfectly suited to host friends, families, or colleagues who are interested in out of the ordinary FUN!
