Karen grew up in Louisiana, but has called Texas home ever since heading to Aggieland in 1991, moving to the Dallas area after completing her MBA in 1998. She and her husband settled down in Frisco three years ago, excited to have found a community where they could walk their two kids to school and gather with neighbors in the front yards on Friday nights. After many years in corporate America, Karen now spends her days as a photographer, volunteer and runner - occasionally all at once!
