We’ll get dressed up and have tea; oh what a fun party this will be!
On April 18, 2020, from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, the Hilton Granite Park will be brimming with fancy hats, frilly dresses, and plenty of laughter as Frisco Women’s League hosts its 15th annual Mother Daughter Tea.
This delightful event is a favorite Frisco tradition and a wonderful way to celebrate the special women in your life. Mothers, daughters, grandmothers, aunts, and friends are all invited to share in the fun.
The signature fundraising event of the Frisco Women’s League, guests will enjoy live entertainment, a lovely lunch, and a marvelous array of high tea-themed activities. The tea will also feature a silent auction and raffle – with a family Disney Vacation as a grand prize!
All proceeds benefit Frisco area non-profits through Frisco Women’s League Charitable Giving Fund. Don’t miss this special opportunity to make cherished memories, support a great cause, and lunch in your most fabulous hat!
Pinkies Up, Girls!
Tea parties are one of the most timeless and beloved traditions for women and girls. We all treasure sweet memories of “having tea” with our own grandmothers, mothers, sisters, and daughters. Frisco Women’s League celebrates this tradition, bringing generations of women together for a memorable afternoon of glamour and fun!
If you haven’t attended the Tea before, you’re in for a treat. Each year, Frisco Women’s League goes all out to create a fun, magical experience. The Hilton ballroom will be transformed into a delightful tea party that would impress even the Queen herself.
Guests will enjoy a wonderful luncheon, complete with a signature cocktail for adults and a special drink for children. Fun, themed activities and live entertainment will add to the festive atmosphere.
Guests can look forward to a candy bar and fun photo backdrops. New this year, the event has added a wine pull, and a jewelry pull to raise additional funds.
No tea party would be complete without fancy hats! Guests are encouraged to dress up and have fun with their finery. The hat contest is just one of the many fun-filled traditions that make the Mother Daughter Tea an event you will want to attend year after year.
Shop Until You Drop!
If tea is the most time-honored tradition for mothers and daughters, shopping is a close second! The Mother Daughter Tea combines the best of both – and benefits a fantastic cause.
From dream vacations to kid-friendly basket items, the silent auction and raffle offer something fabulous for everyone. You can plan your next vacation, finish your Christmas shopping early, and treat yourself – all while supporting a great cause.
Big Hats, Big Hearts
Beneath the fancy hats and fantastical fun, the Mother Daughter Tea is a serious contributor to our local community and an event you can be proud to attend.
Since 2006, the annual Tea has raised an incredible $390,000 for Frisco area non-profits. All proceeds from the event go to the FWL Charitable Giving Fund, a dedicated fund that distributes grants to many local beneficiaries.
This year FWL is proud to support the following grant recipients:
- American Legion Auxiliary Unit 178
- Blue Sky Therapeutic Riding & Respite
- Denton County Friends of the Family, Inc.
- Frisco Education Foundation
- Frisco Family Services
- Frisco Fastpacs
- HopeKids North Texas
- Scottish Rite for Children
The remarkable ladies of Frisco Women’s League certainly know how to throw a party – and make a difference. Amy Rudy, the organization’s 2018-2019 President shared,
The FWL Mother Daughter Tea has been a family tradition for years. I attend with my three daughters and my mom, who travels from Oklahoma just for the Tea. It’s such a thrill to walk in and see how the volunteers have transformed the ballroom into whatever the theme happens to be that year. We’ve seen everything from butterflies to candy to Hollywood and the Emerald City. It’s a fun-filled afternoon and we’re so honored to have played a small part over the years helping FWL raise funds for charitable organizations in our community.
Tickets are available now. Get yours today and we’ll see you there donning fancy hats!
