Frisco Women’s League is an independent organization of women dedicated to strengthening our community and each other through volunteering, friendship and fundraising.
Frisco Women’s League was founded in March of 2002 by seven Frisco women. Founding members were Janet Crisco, Julie Gove, Gina Jannereth, Jody McDaniels, Tricia Redding, Lisa Rodgers and Laura Simmons. This group of friends decided to start a women’s service league to help the community while having fun and meeting new people. Their overall goal was to improve their community by volunteering their time to support local non-profit organizations and get people involved in the community.
Our members are dedicated to supporting and enriching Frisco and its neighboring communities. FWL uses their Charitable Giving Fund to distribute grants to our community partners.
Each year, the FWL Charitable Giving Fund distributes charitable grants to local non-profit organizations. To date, FWL had given close to $400,000 in annual grants to area recipients.
