Dynamic Entrepreneurs Daniel and Carrie Himel to Revitalize Beloved Brand with Fresh Vision and Community Focus
Frisco, Texas – December 5, 2024 – Lifestyle Frisco, the ultimate guide to Frisco’s vibrant scene, is making an exciting comeback following a multiyear hiatus. The popular digital platform, renowned for showcasing “what to do, where to go, and who to know in Frisco, Texas,” has been acquired by prominent Frisco entrepreneurs, Daniel and Carrie Himel, who are set to infuse it with fresh energy and innovative vision.
Founded in 2013 by Wendi McGowan-Ellis and Scott Ellis, Lifestyle Frisco quickly became the premier source for engaging and informative digital content tailored to Frisco residents. The platform has captivated audiences with its multi-media approach, sharing stories through writing, audio, and video. Popular series like “Lifestyle Profiles” and “The Frisco Podcast,” alongside engaging written content and community-driven stories have highlighted the dynamic people, businesses, and events that make Frisco unique.
Now, under the leadership of Daniel and Carrie Himel, Lifestyle Frisco is poised to return stronger than ever. Known for their successful ventures, including the highly acclaimed Middle School Matchup, the Himels bring a wealth of experience and energy to the platform. They’re eager to introduce exciting new opportunities for past and new clients to partner with the brand.
“We’re beyond excited to carry forward the legacy of Lifestyle Frisco and celebrate the amazing culture and people of our town,” said Carrie. “Our goal is to make it the ultimate go-to for everything cool, fun, and interesting in Frisco. We love this community and want to serve our neighbors with news and information relevant to their lifestyles. We want the community’s personality to shine and to make Lifestyle Frisco a must-read that truly adds value to life here.”
The Himels are deeply rooted in the Frisco community, having lived here since 2005, raising five children in Frisco ISD and actively contributing to the city’s growth and vibrancy. Their commitment to community engagement and enjoyment of all things Frisco, paired with their entrepreneurial spirit, make them the perfect stewards to lead Lifestyle Frisco into its next chapter.
With the Himels at the helm, Lifestyle Frisco will continue to be a trusted source for local news, events, and features that connect the community. Expect a revitalized platform that not only maintains its tradition of excellence but also introduces innovative content and opportunities that reflect the evolving needs and interests of Frisco residents.
