If you’re new to Frisco or have been living in the area within the last twenty years, then you’ve noticed how much the landscape has changed. New housing, schools, and retail are all around you.
All of that is good, but personally, what I care more about is…the new food and drink options. Which brings me to the latest unique dining experience known as Legacy Hall.
Legacy Hall is located in the new ‘urban experience’ Legacy West, just outside the Frisco border in Plano. Unlike other typical restaurants, Legacy Hall is one of the first true food halls in North Texas.
What exactly is a food hall?
A food hall is not to be confused with the common food court, which is usually made up of fast food chains. Food halls typically mix local artisan restaurants other food-oriented boutiques under one roof. They’re a fantastic gathering space for food, beverage and culture lovers of all kinds.

Legacy Hall offers more than just food – it’s an entertainment complex with bars, outdoor seating, a brewery, and an energy that will remind you of a European market. There’s something for everyone.
Legacy Hall has over twenty-two food stalls that offer up local and fresh ingredients, representing some of the best chefs from across DFW.
Discover the Variety
Each food stall and bar at Legacy Hall presents its own unique personality and chef-driven specialties. You’ll find 30 varieties of unique food and beverage stalls, including half a dozen bars offering unique libations from wine to beer to cocktails. Mediterranean, Poke, Italian, noodles, meats on sticks… You will find it ALL in Legacy Hall.

If you’re looking for an authentic German brat, then you can try Degenhardt’s. Joshua and Kristin Degenhardt are true masters when it comes to German brats, bringing 30 years of recipes to keep you coming back for more. Their food has no artificial ingredients or preservatives – just another reason why they’ve been called the best brats in Texas.
Maybe you just want small bites to accompany a nice glass of wine. De’tour might be more of your style as they offer up a wide range of cheeses and meats with a wine selection that can pair with almost anything.
Maybe you’re craving dessert, a cappuccino, or a gourmet donut from Glazed Donut Works. (These are not regular donuts! Maple bacon, mini creme brulee, red velvet…)
