The first thing I noticed about Grover’s Grill & Bar is the name… it’s Grill & Bar instead of Bar & Grill. Grover’s got its name from the original chef, so the main focus is the food.
Hired about a year and a half ago, Cateron Catering (which drives the kitchen at Grover’s) owner Stacey Wetzel has created a menu full of upscale, made from scratch, bar food.
During my visit, I ate the shrimp toast, bacon-wrapped stuffed jalapeños, beef chimi, and chicken tacos. My favorites were the beef chimi, and shrimp toast, although everything was delicious.
We have gone through a couple of evolutions with the menu,” said Wetzel, “and we’re planning to feature buffet-style items on Monday nights.”
With a smoker on site for brisket and pork, Grover’s offers a full catering menu for any event needs. And, if you’re looking for a new place for brunch, Grover’s Grill & Bar just launched their brunch menu. Signature brunch items are homemade hollandaise sauce, corn beef hash, and homemade sausage gravy.
Each bartender has their own signature drink giving Grover’s customers a reason to go try something different. One bartender is an expert in martinis, another an expert on Gin cocktails, and another who makes the perfect margarita.
Taylor’s specialty is the Fuzzy Peach Martini made of Georgia Peach Vodka, a splash of Absolut Mandarin, orange juice, a float of Champagne, and a sugar rim. He also makes the Berry Blitz which consists of Three Olive Berry Vodka, sweet & sour mix, and 7-Up. Taylor is also known for the Ruby Red Surprise, Memorial Day Surprise, and Wedding Cake Martini.
Grover’s Live, the entertainment side of Grover’s Grill & Bar, books top entertainment in the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex, and was voted “Best Live Music Venue” in Collin County by Frisco Enterprise readers.

A few of the national acts that have performed at Grover’s Live include Stephen Pearcy’s Ratt Bastards, Blaze of Glory THE Jon Bon Jovi Experience, and Jack Russell’s Great White among others.
Grover’s has a huge patio with lots of space, which can accommodate up to 2,000 people making Grover’s a great place for gatherings and large parties.
