It is Christmas in August! Frisco Square Property Owners Association, proudly presents the 12th Annual Christmas in the Square 2016 at Frisco Square, which opens the day after Thanksgiving on November 25, 2016 and continues through January 1, 2017.
New this year!
Due to the overwhelming popularity and growth, Frisco Square Property Owners Association is offering big and small businesses; non-profits and those with a creative holiday flare the opportunity to have a 10’ x 10’ booth during an “Event Night” on December 17, 2016.
We suggest those with a special holiday give-away, game, treat, product, or performance to visit www.friscosquare.com/cits to fill out an application to become a part of this wonderful Frisco Square tradition. Deadline to complete the form is October 15, 2016.
Skate the Square
A real ice skating rink 44’ x 66′, located at the southwest corner of Main Street and Coleman Blvd. across from Toyota Stadium, is returning on November 25, 2016. This daily event is an addition to the already popular, family-friendly events scheduled during the 12th annual Christmas in the Square. In 2015, over 750,000 people attended Christmas in the Square, one of the largest events in North Texas.
Skate the Square, an outdoor ice skating rink, will be available Monday through Thursday between the hours of 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from noon to 10 p.m., except on Christmas Day and weather permitting.
The ice skating cost is $10 per person, per day, including skate rentals. The daily price includes open public skating for as long as visitors want to stay within the open and close times. To reserve the ice rink for private use, you may call 214-444- 8758 and the cost is $300 per hour.
Frisco Square is thrilled to host Skate the Square because the real outdoor ice skating rink is another entertainment option for friends and families who are attending Christmas in the Square. Along with the dazzling lights show which is choreographed to holiday music, visitors can enjoy snow machines, parachuting Santa, an inner tubing snow slide, carriage rides, and so much more.
