Ah, Spring. Aside from the allergies, lack of big cozy sweaters and the unsatisfying switch from hot to iced coffee, it’s still my favorite season.
It’s the season of flowers, pastels, green grass – and fresh fruits and veggies! Basically, it’s the most colorful of all the seasons. And you can get a taste of all that color at the Frisco Farmers Market!
The market kicks off its 2014 season on May 10th. Start your meal planning, because it’s time to buy some locally grown goodness.
The Farmers Market comes to Frisco Square every Saturday until mid-October running from 8 AM – 1 PM, or until they sell out.
You’ll want to get their early to make sure you get the best and the freshest options. Plus, once they run out, that’s it till next weekend. Come too late and you’ll be stuck with, although still delicious, what maybe not the perkiest of the perky goods.
The market began on July 4, 2007 by the Frisco Noon Lions Club with just a few vendors. On May 10th, you can expect over 30! With such amazing and delicious vendors, the market will only continue to see growth in both attendance and vendors. (More food and goodies for us!)
Check out the Frisco Farmers Market vendor lists from 2013 to see what you have to look forward to.
Will we be seeing on this Saturday morning?
