This weekend is jam-packed in Frisco with Pumpkins on the Prairie, The Lonestar Storytelling Festival, Classic Corvettes, Children’s theater plan, High School Football, FC Dallas, the last day of the Frisco Farmers Market, Barktoberfest, golf Tournaments, Art Tours, and the symphony. Whew!

The National Corvette Restorers Society will host a Corvette show next weekend at the Embassy Suites Hotel & Frisco Convention Center. This year’s theme celebrates the 50th anniversary of the 1963 Corvette. Nearly a dozen will be on display along with more than 70 Corvettes from other years. The show is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 18 and 19. Admission is $5 for adults. Children younger than 12 and military get in free. Proceeds will benefit Honor Flight for World War II veterans.
Attack of the Zombies! – Frisco Area Children’s Theatre, Oct. 18 & 19. See zombies versus students! The senior class students are throwing their annual party, with a zombie theme. Located in an old farmhouse formerly owned by crazy Dr. Thanatos, they come to realize that the zombies really are going to attend, shuffling out from the graveyard next door! Enjoy this classic horror style, spoofy comedy. Tickets $5-10, at-the-door, only. (more info)

PSO’s Family Symphony Sunday Series “PERCUSSION” in Black Box Theater and Frisco Art Gallery. Children ages 3-10 and their families are sure to enjoy the Plano Symphony Orchestra’s Frisco series of concerts and activities for learning about different sections of the orchestra.
