Stan’s Main Street, famous for its great burgers and live music, is giving back to the community and has recruited local elected officials to help. On December 14, 2015 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm CST, a Collin County Commissioner, four Frisco City Council members, a Frisco Police Chief and Fire Chief will serve the customers of Stan’s Main Street as “Celebrity” wait staff. Celebrities will work for customer tips and all tips plus 10% of gross sales will be donated to Frisco Family Services.
Celebrity wait staff include, Collin County Commissioner Susan Fletcher, Frisco City Council members: Bob Allen, Jeff Cheney, Scott Johnson, and Tim Nelson. In addition, Frisco Deputy Chief of Police David Shilson and Frisco Deputy Fire Chief Cameron Kraemer will don aprons in support of this great cause.
“Stan’s Main Street is all about families! Giving back has always been a part of what we do. We are thrilled to have so many local ‘celebrities’ partner with us to raise money for Frisco Family Services.” commented Jennifer Rearick, owner of Stan’s Main Street. “Our motto is ‘Deep in the heart of Frisco’ and we intend to show just how big our heart is during this special event!”

Frisco City Council member Tim Nelson added, “What a unique way to give back. I’m excited to participate in an event that should prove to be fun and rewarding on so many levels. I’ve been honored to serve Frisco residents as a council member, but never have I been asked to ‘serve’ them in this way!”
Lon Ricker, development director, Frisco Family Services adds “Stan’s and their ‘Celebrities’ are taking service to a whole new level! This creative event demonstrates the difference a few caring people can make on the entire community, while having fun. Frisco Family Services is honored to be a part of it, and we look forward to an evening of good food and laughs.”
Celebrity servers will be responsible for taking orders, keeping drinks full and delivering great food! Fortunately for the customers, each celebrity will be shadowed by one of Stan’s highly trained, professional wait staff. Celebrities will be informally competing for bragging rights, by being the celebrity to collect the highest tip total! Customers are encouraged to be generous with their gratuity, since 100% of all tips will be donated to Frisco Family Services. Gratuity may be in the form of checks made payable to “Frisco Family Services”.
Customers are encouraged to bring in unexpired canned goods, all of which will be donated to Frisco Family Services.
