CrossRoads Winery is making, selling, and serving their wine from their Frisco location at 15222 King Rd, Frisco, TX 75034. They are also part of the Dallas Town and Country Wine Trail, which works in cooperation to provide events for the North Texas region and beyond.
This past Saturday, CrossRoads Winery invited LifeStyle Frisco out for a glimpse and a taste of what this local winery brings to the table. We were not disappointed!
As soon as we walked in the door, Owner John Wilson and the authentic charm of CrossRoads greeted us. I have to say, the warehouse exterior of their facility doesn’t do the interior justice. Inside we were surrounded by a warm and rustic ambiance, with wooden tables, a bar, and of course a few large steel tanks that stored some of their wine. John was so generous as to offer us a taste from a couple of these steel tanks including one of their brand new wines, Tempranillo, and one of their most popular wines, CSM (made from a careful selection of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot). Both were some serious palette pleasers!
We also got a taste of their White Port “Pearl” which was sweet with hints of peach and their Red Ice which was also sweet with hints of raspberry. It was hard to pick a favorite among these two because they were both absolutely delicious, but the White Port really won us over. If you haven’t ever tried a White Port before (or even if you have), we fully recommend giving this one a taste!
Other CrossRoads highlights include their Live Music Friday nights featuring various jazz artists and their wine club that gives members access to exclusive perks and discounts. So, the next time you’re looking for something fun to do on the weekend, check out CrossRoads Winery and tell them LifeStyleFrisco sent you.
