In collaboration with Frisco ISD, Frisco Square Property Owners Association presents the 10th Annual Arts in the Square, benefitting Frisco Family Services.
March 30-31, 2019, Frisco Square will transform into an outdoor fine arts and crafts gallery from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm each day, with free admission and parking.
Arts in the Square is an annual juried event featuring over 120 of the best local and regional artists presenting and selling their original creations. The two-day festival has historically attracted as many as 30,000 participants.
Feast your eyes on incredible art, sit and relax by Simpson Plaza, listen to local musical talent, watch performing arts, enjoy interactive art activities, and treat yourself to the food and spirits available at the variety of award-winning restaurants on site.
Empty Bowls Benefitting Frisco Family Services
In addition to providing the community with a family-friendly cultural event, the festival proceeds benefit local charity partner, Frisco Family Services, which supports members of our community who are facing hunger, homelessness and other urgent needs.
Stop by the Frisco ISD/Frisco Family Services booth to select your special Empty Bowl, hand-made by Frisco ISD art students. The clay bowls will be available to take home in exchange for a donation to Frisco Family Services. Each bowl is meant to serve as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world and the need to fight against hunger.
About the Artists
Some of the best local and regional artists will be in attendance selling their handmade creations, as well as competing in categories such as Fine Arts/Graphics, Pottery, Glass, Jewelry, Photography, and Textiles.
During the festival, cash prizes for Best-in-Show ($500) and Juror’s Choice ($500), along with ten student prizes will be presented. (View the past winners here.)
