Come out and grab your chance to tour the studio work spaces of Frisco’s finest artists. Get a close-up view of how these artists work, ask them questions about their processes, and even add to your art collection as all items on the tour will be for sale. In addition, most of the artists work on private commissions, so that means you could reserve your very own custom piece from the artist of your choosing… just in time for the holidays!
You’re invited to the ArtSeen Studio Tour in Frisco on October 19 and 20! This is Frisco’s third annual art tour, featuring 16 artists — painters, printmakers, photographers, sculptors, and mixed media artists — at 8 studios. Many favorites are returning, plus a group of new artists have joined the tour. You’ll be impressed with the quality and talent of the art in Frisco.
In addition to the artists’ studios, make it a day of artist appreciation by dropping by two other public exhibits on display during the tour. The Visual Arts Guild of Frisco’s Fall Member Show, “SHADE: Aesthetics in Black, White and Gray,” will be shown at the Frisco Discovery Center. Local creatives from Swanky Couch will be showing their “Modern Nostalgia” installation at thegallery8680. You can see this during the tour, or get a sneak-peak at the ArtSeen Kickoff Party on Friday, October 18 from 7-9pm. At the party, you can personally meet the artists, mingle with other art enthusiasts, and relax with snacks and sips bohemian-style in thegallery8680 located at 8680 W. Main Street in Frisco.
