Sometimes the mood needs a moment, a moment to be captured in a picture. An amazing day exploring the city with friends, a milestone birthday, or maybe a photoshoot to freshen up your profile – all worthy moments to put that camera to good use. Take advantage of the endless picturesque backgrounds in and around Frisco. We’ve got skate ramps, painted brick that pops, natural landscapes, water features, art sculptures, and more.
Here’s a list of our favorite local backgrounds to set the scene for your next photo session.

Frisco Rail District Murals: 4tH & Main Street | Frisco – Look for the colorful wall mural by the Garden Club’s Gazebo. Named for the many people, places and things in Frisco, the artwork is called Frisco, Past and Present by artist Joshua Boulet. Across the street check out the purple Smile mural by Misty Oliver Foster.
Patios at the Rail Rooftop | Frisco – On the rooftop of the Patios building, snap your shot in front of the beautiful wall mural by Patrick Ganino or pick the gorgeous greenery and Frisco view.

The Star | FRISCO – There are many places to stop for a great photo at The Star in Frisco. Our favorites include The Huddle sculpture and the turf football field at The Ford Center.
Didi’s Downtown | FRISCO – Check out the heart hands mural as you enter the beloved local restaurant, the Ganino train mural on the west side, or snap a pic in front of the ‘Texas Flag’ fence.

Frisco Square | Frisco – A City Hall backdrop, fountains, stunning evening lighting above – take your pic from plenty of great options to capture your moment.
Adriatica Village | McKinney – Step into a gorgeous Croatian-inspired backdrop and #AllThingsAdriatica in this McKinney mixed-use location. One of our favorite buildings is the Bella Donna Chapel – storybook beautiful!
Grandscape | The Colony – This master-planned multi-use development is filled with outdoor spaces for pictures. From a large open turf space, greenery-lined curved walkways, sitting areas, sparkles of light along the dining spots, water features and more, the backdrops are dreamy.
Shops at Legacy | Plano – Whether you want to capture the street side shops, pose with the artsy butterfly wall art or the Longhorn sculpture, or perch at the fountains, the Shops at Legacy have tons of amazing backgrounds for your mood.
Legacy West| Plano – Along Windrose Avenue, picture-perfect wall art changes with the season. The beautiful fountains in front of Mesero are a favorite, too.
The Boardwalk at Granite Park | Plano – This waterfront setting is a fun, family-friendly spot that might make you feel like you’ve stepped outside of North Texas.
Legacy Central at 75 & Legacy | Plano – This hidden campus has amazing, fun, bright wall murals by artist Adrian Torres.
Arbor Hills Nature Preserve | PLANO – This 200-acre park is beautiful and spacious with plenty of room for you to find the perfect picture place. Our recommendation? Snap a selfie from the observation tower.
