Christmas In The Square 2017 – From November 24 – through January 3, 2018, Frisco Square Property Owners Association and NBC5, proudly present Christmas in the Square at Frisco Square which opens with Skate the Square. Skate the Square, an outdoor real ice skating rink will be available beginning Monday through Thursday between the hours of 4pm and 9pm. Enjoy extended hours from December 16 to January 3rd – 2pm to 9pm, and Friday through Sunday 12noon to 10pm except on Christmas Day and weather permitting. The “Christmas in the Square Light Show” will be open nightly from 6pm to 10pm.

Wacky Weather at the Frisco Public Library – Get hands-on to learn the science of anemometers. For grades 3rd- 5th. Free, but tickets required. Tickets will be released 30 minutes before the program begins on the 2nd floor. 3pm to 4pm on the 2nd floor, Children’s Program Room.

Frisco Youth Theatre Winter Break Art and Drama Camp – Grades Kinder – 5th Art and Drama camps are the perfect way to learn and create! Campers work with our experienced staff to learn about acting, singing, dancing, and creating artwork. Get ready for a week of adventure! Please bring a sack lunch each day. Schedule:

Frisco Fine Art presents international artist: Abebe Zelelew – Often called a living master, Abebe tells his stories of his life in Ethiopia by carving them on African Mohogany wood in acrylic. In his words: “The metamorphosis of raw materials such as cotton balls, or straw into aesthetic objects of daily use via the deft hands of the artisan has always fascinated me. The harmonious lines these objects put on display in our daily life inspire me and emerge as patterns in my works…” Come see the entire exhibition through December 29th at Frisco Fine Art, 7227 Main Street.

“Off With The Helmets – Cowboys” Radio Show – Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar, located at The Star in Frisco, will play host to live “Off with the Helmets Cowboys” radio show this football season. Emcee Brady Tinker and current Cowboys players will be on site at Tupelo Honey each show to discuss the current football season live on ESPN 103.3 FM. Featured players will include La’El Collins, Brice Butler and Jaylon Smith, as well as surprise guests featured throughout the season.

DXL Frisco Bowl “SMU vs. Louisiana Tech” At 7pm in Toyota Stadium. The stadium is anticipated to be full for the first-ever FBS ESPN bowl game played in Frisco. The DXL Frisco Bowl is one of four bowl games set to be played at the home stadium of a Major League Soccer team (FC Dallas plays at Toyota Stadium).

Christmas at the Cathedral – At Elevate Life Church, this free, family-friendly production is nothing short of spectacular! There are many exciting elements including singing, acting, dancing, music, lights and more. (Please note there will be LED’s, strobe lights, haze fog, loud noises and other special effects used during the performance.) Following the production, Elevate Life Church’s Lead Pastor Keith Craft will also be sharing a special message to remind us of the reason for the season. In addition to the visually stunning show, there will be a “larger than life” 36-foot Christmas tree in the lobby, perfect for photos. Santa Claus will be in attendance, joined by a gingerbread man and hot cocoa in the lobby. General admission, priority-seating tickets can be can be reserved in advance.

Cowboys Christmas Spectacular – 6:00pm. The Star has been filled with entertainment and the holiday season is certainly no exception. The Cowboys Christmas Spectacular takes place each week on Tostitos Championship Plaza and will feature the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm and Blue Dancers and Drumline, appearances by Santa, and of course, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.

“COUNTDOWN TO NOON” NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTYOn Sunday, December 31st, from 11am to 2pm, Sci-Tech Discovery Center, Frisco’s leading family-friendly cultural and educational destination, is mixing science with play this New Year’s Eve with “Countdown to Noon.” The event will be jammed packed with interactive science activities as Sci-Tech and little scientists prepare to celebrate 2018 early.  Activities include:
