UT Southwestern Medical Center first opened its doors in Dallas in 1943 as Southwestern Medical School.

And now, UT Southwestern Medical Center Frisco has come to our beloved city in a big way, opening a new 120,000-square-foot outpatient specialty care facility at the corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Eldorado Parkway.
UT Southwestern Frisco offers on-site medical care for adults and children in a dozen specialty areas, including neurology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, and sports medicine, along with imaging and lab services and free covered parking. A retail pharmacy will open soon.
UT Southwestern Frisco is the fifth regional medical center UTSW has opened since the fall of 2012. The Frisco location is unique, however, because it is part of a beautiful new 20-acre medical campus and a joint venture with Texas Health Hospital Frisco.
The Frisco campus creates a seamless patient experience, bringing the expert specialty care of UT Southwestern close to home, together with surgical services, a 24/7 emergency room, women’s services, and a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at the new eight-story, 325,000-square-foot Texas Health Hospital.
