Art in the Atrium 9 – City of Frisco’s Public Art Board – City Hall

Art in the Atrium is a bi-annual, two-dimensional art exhibition on the five floors of City Hall in Frisco, TX. Ratpack Magic: Memories of the Golden Age of Crooners – VAGF Show
October 6-Nov 8, Frisco Art Gallery. Deadline: 10/1/14

Enter paintings, drawings, photographs, mixed media pieces, or sculpture relating to the 1960s-1970s era of the famous Rat Pack Crooners (Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Bing Crosby). Prizes will be awarded in each category! Entry fee for non-members: $30 for two pieces/membership cost. VAGF Members: FREE (up to 2 pieces). The Heritage Association and Visual Arts Guild of Frisco are organizing a Western themed art show that will open near the annual Shawnee Trail Cowboy Day. Create a canned goods sculpture as a class or troop and after the show, which runs 11/10-11/22 in the Frisco Art Gallery, the cans will be donated to Frisco Family Services. The winning sculpture will be awarded during the reception on Wed, Nov 12 in the Frisco Art Gallery. The prize? A FREE pizza party (up to 25 people) for the group or class who created it! 3rd Annual Festival of Trees – Frisco Art Gallery
Deadline: 11/7/14

Local businesses, organizations, and artists are invited to submit holiday-themed trees, wreaths, and two-dimensional artworks for display in the Frisco Art Gallery that may be sold or auctioned to benefit CASA of Collin County, an organization that helps children in the foster system. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of any tree or wreath will go directly to CASA. 30% of the sale of any two-dimensional artwork goes to CASA, while the remaining 70% will go back to the artist. NO ENTRY FEE. The reception will be 7-9PM on Wed, Dec 3rd.

Arts in the Square 2015

In partnership with Frisco ISD, Frisco Square presents the fifth annual juried arts and crafts festival benefiting Frisco Family Services featuring 120 of the best local and regional artists in the following categories: Fine Arts/Graphics, Pottery, Textiles, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metal, Photography, Wood, and Miscellaneous. $500 cash prizes awarded to the Best in Show and Juror’s Choice during the festival.
