Monday, September 10

Community

FISD School Board Meeting: 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm. A regular meeting of the Frisco ISD Board of Trustees at the Frisco ISD Administration Building, 5515 Ohio Drive, Frisco. The Board will immediately go into closed session and resume open meeting at 7:30 pm for regular business.


Tuesday, September 11

Community

September 11th Observance: 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm. A solemn ceremony at Frisco’s Freedom Meadow at Warren Sports Complex. Members of the Frisco-based American Legion, Post 178, as well as the Frisco Fire and Police Depts will also play a part in the ceremony.

Town Hall on Bond and TRE Measures: 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at Pioneer Heritage Middle School. A series of town halls about the bond and TRE measures that will appear on the November 6 ballot. Community members unable to attend in-person can tune in online to watch a live stream of the events on the FISD Facebook page.

Frisco ISD College Fair: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Liberty High School. Frisco ISD will welcome dozens of colleges and universities from across the country to meet with Frisco ISD high school junior, seniors, and parents about admissions.

Get to Know Frisco Mixer: 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm at Dave and Buster’s Frisco. A monthly social to meet fellow transplants, Frisco residents, and get to know our great and growing city! Your resource for all things Frisco from referrals for doctors, ideas for a night out or just an answer to all of your local questions.
