Monday, August 20

Kids and Family

Momma Meet UP – PJs and Pancakes: 8:00 am – 11:00 am at UP Inspired Kitchen. Their playhouse on the patio is a beautiful place for moms to MEET UP and share quality time with each other and their littles.

Community

Special School Board Meeting – 2018 Tax Rate Adoption: 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm, FISD Administration Board Room. The School Board will meet in special session to discuss and adopt the District’s 2018 tax rate, which is proposed to decrease by two cents from $1.46 to $1.44. A public hearing will also be held during the meeting.

Dallas Cowboys Preseason Training Camp at The Star: August 20-28. Training Camp kicks off with an Opening Ceremony on Monday, August 20 at 5:30 pm with the first of five practices open to the public. Training camp dates at The Star include August 20-21, August 23-24, and August 28th. In addition, the Back To Football event will take place throughout The Star campus, with live music, family-friendly games, and more.
