In collaboration with the Frisco Independent School District, Frisco Square presents the 7th Annual Arts in the Square, with proceeds going to the Frisco Education Foundation and Frisco Family Services. Each spring, Frisco Square transforms into an outdoor fine arts and crafts gallery during Arts in the Square, April 2-3, 2016 with free admission and parking.
This is the 7th year of the Arts in the Square Official Poster contest. Every year students from Frisco ISD participate in four categories according to grade, K-12. A jury selects a winner in each of the four categories and the winners are:
- Jackie Marzullo, Sparks Elementary
- Breanna Oudthone, Purefoy Elementary
- Bayli Brown, Roach Middle School
- Darci Massey, Lone Star High School
These four art pieces are represented on the final winning poster designed by the Graphic Arts and Illustration class students at CTE Center Graphic Design School.
