Due to overwhelming response, Skate the Square, a real outdoor ice rink, has extended hours to 12noon – 10:00pm daily through January 3rd. The weather is perfect for skating outdoors and under the light show.
Ice skating cost is $10 per person, per day, including skate rentals, and reservations for the ice rink for private events is $250 per hour.
Enjoy the Light Extravaganza from an open air, horse drawn carriage provided by North Star Carriages. The only thing better than walking under the lights is riding.
Carriage rides will be available Thursday through Sundays until January 3rd from 6:00pm to 10:00pm and will be loading at the corner of Coleman Boulevard and Frisco Square Boulevard. Carriage rides are $6.00 per person.

Frisco Square Property Owner’s Association invites the community to the Grand Opening celebration for Skate the Square Outdoor Ice Rink at Frisco Square on Friday November 27, 2015, 11:30 a.m. A cast of National and International ice skating Champions will perform a spectacular show to commemorate the Grand Opening of Skate the Square on November 27th at 11:30 a.m. The show is at the southwest corner of Main Street and Coleman Blvd. in Frisco, Texas.
Come enjoy the unique opportunity to ice skate during the largest choreographed light show in North Texas. After the ceremony all are invited to enjoy a 2 for 1 skate special until 5p.m.; additionally a family of 5 can skate for $25, valid November 27, 2015 only. Seasonal, daily ice skating cost is $10 per person, per day, including skate rentals and reservations for the ice rink for private events is $250 per hour.
Christmas in the Square is a dazzling, choreographed holiday lights and music extravaganza and is heralded as one of the largest events in North Texas. Visitors can drive or stroll through and enjoy the shops, restaurants, and holiday display around the square.
