Perhaps it reminded you of the home you grew up in, your first job, or your significant other.

There are few things that take us to another time and place like an old familiar smell, and the first time I walked into POParella’s Gourmet Popcorn and Treats, I landed right back in a childhood Christmas. The small of fresh popcorn and carmel corn made me feel right at home, so the next time you’re in Frisco Square, I dare you to stop in. I promise you won’t want to leave.

poparellas frisco - 007 POParella’s is one part gourmet popcorn store and one part old-fashioned candy shop. You can’t miss the popcorn smell when you walk in and the variety of flavors they have is simply amazing.

Dill pickle popcorn, anyone? Sounds crazy, but it was delicious. Buffalo Wing, Sea Salt & Black Pepper, Dr. Pepper, and more just begin the list of flavors.

There are classics as well like caramel corn, so even if you’re a traditionalist, you’ll find something to make you happy. But try some of the other flavors. Not only are they very good, you’ll have a blast doing it. Even if you’re not a popcorn person, then hit the candy counter with cookies, creamy fudge, gourmet chocolate, and other sweet treats.
