Three years ago I met Dan Ferguson and the Premier Grilling team when our lives crossed paths on the DIY Network. He and his team were installing a Twin Eagles five-burner grill and outdoor kitchen during a show we were filming.
At the time they were operating out of a converted house/office in Downtown Frisco and were hopeful to “expand” into a larger footprint. Like many ambitious business stories you hear, you smile, nod and wish them luck, but deep down you think the odds are against them and it will be a tough road.
Flash forward three years and not only are they succeeding as local experts in grilling, they opened a 4,500 sq ft store in Plano last year and recently opened the US’s largest grilling store at 8,000 sq ft on the SW Corner of Eldorado and the Tollway.

Selling grills is a fun gig and all, but the these guys are at their best when they are standing in front of a ripping hot 600 degree seer station with a 20oz filet on it! Or better yet, letting some thermal convection quietly cook a pork butt on a huge Green Egg!
