Tumbleweed Texstyles - Where Texas Roots Meets Frisco Pride

It’s a story we never get tired of telling.

The story of Tumbleweed Texstyles begins seven years ago with two teachers at Liberty High School in Frisco and a modest $700 investment.

Jeb Matulich, an Art teacher, and Brian Wysong, at the time, an Independent Study and Mentorship and Marketing/Entrepreneurship teacher, found inspiration in Jeb’s cool, Texana-style artwork. The two friends and colleagues saw an opportunity to combine their talents and make a difference in the community.

The teachers gained notable credibility with their students for the real-world experience they were bringing to their classrooms. They also give back to the Frisco Education Foundation.

Tumbleweed Texstyles is still very much a Frisco business but their success has taken them beyond our borders. They’re now in over 150 retailers.
