Byron Bogar was a “Day 1” intern with the Texas Legends, and his run there really never ended. He’s been the Director of Basketball Operations, among many other things, and now serves as the Assistant General Manager for our favorite Frisco basketball team.

He has soaked in years and years worth of basketball knowledge working with greats such as Donnie Nelson, Nancy Lieberman, Del Harris, and Spud Webb. It’s evident how much Byron loves basketball (and baseball) — and especially — how much he loves the Texas Legends. It’s a huge part of why we love the Legends, too.

Next time you find yourself at a Legends game, say “hi” to Byron. He’ll definitely be saying hi to you from the mic, on the court — always with a huge smile.
