Just listened to Jeff Chaney talk about the Warren and Wade developments. He talks about world class facilities and attracting top shelf dining and entertainment opportunities. I certainly support this but see the archaic liquor laws of Frisco continuing to be a stumbling block for this vision. For example: We joined another couple for dinner on New Years Eve. We went to Addison for dinner and decided to stop in Frisco for a drink and some music to ring in the new year. Imagine our surprise to find that they had to shut down at midnight on New Year’s Eve. This kind of thing happens every time one attends an evening event as everything closes so early. He mentions Legacy Shops. One of the reasons they thrive is that they have shops and restaurants that are filled with families in the afternoon and early evening but also cater to adults and adult entertainment at night. I hope that Jeff and the good folks on the city council will make the necessary changes to help Frisco to continue to develop into a destination city that provides high level facilities for all. thanks
