Nori Runge, founder of One Perfect House in Frisco, was born in Chicago and raised in Torreon, Mexico. She studied Interior Design at the University of the Incarnate Word and lives with her husband of 12 years and two kids.
Recognizing that families in Frisco lead very busy lives, Nori helps those moms needing an extra hand organizing their homes. Whether busy with work, family, or outside interests, home organization tends to get put off for “later” with later eventually becoming a state of overwhelming clutter. “Not knowing where to start is the biggest complaint I hear,” says Nori. “Some clients just need idea-starters and others want full service which includes shopping and installation.” One Perfect House assists with where to begin and getting it all organized and beautifully designed.
Nori says,”I take a consultative approach to organizing homes. I organize pantries, closets, home offices, kitchen cabinets… anything that needs organizing. I create a collaborative experience with each homeowner, so that once I leave their project, the homeowner can easily maintain the newly organized and designed space.”
One Perfect House has three key business segments:
- Home Organization to improve function: pantries, kitchen cabinets, home office, craft rooms
- Design Consultation to improve aesthetic: any room from remodel to redecorate
- Home Staging: homes for sale or rent
Due to her interior design passion, Nori has a history of helping friends and family with organizing and decorating their homes. Realizing that, for most, a family’s home is their biggest investment and very personal, Nori finds the opportunity to help them improve their home is very gratifying, and after finishing a first project, clients are so excited to use their newly organized space they decide to continue and tackle other spaces in their homes. Most clients appreciate how much impact a few hours of service can have in their home.
Today, many people in Frisco work from a home office. However, some may not want to dedicate an entire room for that office. The homeowner may get discouraged that they have to sacrifice a bedroom to satisfy their home office needs. Nori says, “I had one client who had a built-in desk area that was being used as a dumping space for everyday items. I helped her see the benefits of converting that space to her new office.” After cleaning out, purging drawers and cabinets, shopping for new office chairs and décor, this client now uses her office as intended ALL the time. Nori continues, “Her husband and mother were shocked to see her use the space on a daily basis, and it kept her workspace organized and separate from family life. Just this one improvement inspired her to de-clutter the kitchen and closets in her home.”
