National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), announces the launch of its “Give Love, Give Hope” campaign to honor women that are undergoing breast cancer treatment. There are approximately 720 women who are diagnosed with breast cancer every day and NBCF will deliver HOPE Kits to these women on Valentine’s Day to provide love, hope and encouragement.
HOPE Kits are filled with items that provide comfort to patients during treatment and offer a hands-on way for donors to show their support. Each kit includes fuzzy socks, soothing tea, unscented lotion, and other items, that are helpful to patients while going through the difficulties of breast cancer.
In order to provide 720 Hope Kits to women undergoing breast cancer treatment on Valentine’s Day, we will need to raise $36,000,” said LoriAnn Gilbert, NBCF Fundraising Manager. “Every dollar will help and we are so thankful to all donors for their support and generosity.”
For every donation of $50 or more, your gift will give a HOPE Kit to a recently diagnosed woman, providing her with love and hope. For more information and to make a donation, click here.
