It’s an exciting week ahead in The Rail District as the first of many projects for Nack Development breaks ground on Monday, July 16th at 9:30am.

The highly anticipated Tower at the Rail located at 8763 7th Street in Frisco, will soon bring a mix of retail and residential space making a huge contribution to revitalizing and enhancing the historic area. The project will include eight luxury brownstones with rooftop terraces overlooking the neighboring restaurants and retail, including Boxcar House and Boxcar Bakery.

Tower at The Rail Nack DevelopmentBoutique-style real estate development company Nack Development is working with the city on many ideas in the Rail District area promoting the theme of walkability with a mix of live, work and play projects in Downtown Historic Frisco.

In an exclusive interview with Lifestyle Frisco, President of Nack Development, Donny Churchman, explained,

We are the first developer in 30 years to bring a new concept to the Rail District area. There were a lot of unknowns coming into developing this project, but we worked through it all and I’m excited to say, the future is bright!

Nack Development Tower at the RailIn addition to The Tower at The Rail, Nack Development is also progressing on several other exciting projects in the area.

The Patios at the Rail, located at Main Street and South County by the hip gallery and event space Frisco Fine Art, will bring retail, restaurants, office space and an event center. Also, two rooftop patios, a park, and a parking garage. International restaurateurs from Brisbane, Australia recently signed an agreement to bring Honour Espresso to the development, and local entrepreneur Brooklyn Calloway will open Brookielynns Bungalow at the Patios as well.

Nack Theater, to be located at 2nd Street and Oak, will create a new entertainment destination for the city providing a home for the North Texas Performing Arts’ Frisco Youth Theater. A 200-seat performance theater presenting dedicated youth performances 32 weekends of the year along with comedy and improv nights and a host of other performing options.

Nack Development Rail DistrictThe Calaboose will offer even more upscale residential options to the Rail district with 20 luxury town-homes, rooftop decks and approximately 24,000 square foot of office space. Donny Churchman said,

We have always been fascinated by the importance that downtown plays in the strength and health of a community. We are so excited to progress on the redevelopment of Downtown Historic Frisco, with our first project, The Tower at The Rail, as we begin to return the excitement to the city’s original core.

These projects come completely inspired from our travels to some of the best downtowns across the country, from listening to merchants, council members, business owners and fellow Frisco residents. It is within all of that collaboration and influence that will make the introduction of The Rail District a destination that is thoughtful, that is exciting and that will keep people coming back.

Since 2016, Nack Development has been developing real estate projects in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Nack is currently working throughout the Metroplex on multiple projects and has quickly developed a reputation as an innovative, honest and transparent company. Specializing in niche downtown redevelopment projects focusing on the revitalization of old towns via mixed-use developments.

So, get ready Frisco, the revitalization of Historic Downtown Frisco is here. Residential, retail, restaurants and event venues will be designed to bring people together. The Rail District truly is bringing an artful combination of old and new, local and international, to recreate a downtown for a new generation.
