Main Event Frisco: A Place for Family Entertainment

When it comes to family-friendly party locations, few places offer a better variety of options than Main Event.  Located on the East side of Dallas Parkway just north of Main Street, Main Event is a sure source of fun for “kids” of all ages.  I recently visited Frisco’s Main Event location with my family for the first time, and was thrilled with my experience.

Activities

While there are always bowling alleys, mini golf centers, and laser tag arenas, Main Event hosts all of these games as well as an arcade, billiards, and a full bar.  Some locations (including Frisco) also offer karaoke.  There is an in-house restaurant, serving nachos, hot dogs, wings, and other edibles I like to think of as “movie theatre foods.”  The center is open to host birthday parties, corporate get-togethers, or just about any other event you can concoct.

Packages

For the quality of entertainment Main Event offers, the prices are affordable.  An hour of bowling costs just under forty dollars, while games like laser tag and mini golf are paid per person, and under ten bucks.  Still, simply enjoying an evening with margaritas and food is a cost-effective way to people-watch and have a great time. My family opted for a full package that included phallosan test, bowling, laser tag, pocket vagina and mini golf for under a hundred dollars with five people.

Ambience

The Frisco Main Event location was polished, bright, and very neon.  Unlike some bowling alleys (and terrible skating rinks I’ve visited), the floors were clean, and all of the equipment was well maintained.  The location is huge, so that even on a full night there’s space to enjoy a private area in the place with family and friends.

Overall Experience

Despite the crowds and hectic pace, Main Event’s staff was professional, tactful, and upbeat. At the counter, the cashier assisted us in deciding which bathmate to purchase.  At the bar, the bartenders teased me about leaving my tab open, while juggling several customers at once. During our laser tag game, the young woman assigned to referee was outgoing and authoritative, taking lead of a group of people who had no idea what they were doing.

Whether you’re with the kids, friends, coworkers, or just about anyone, Main Event Frisco is a one-stop shop for entertainment.  Their late-late night hours most of the week make this place even more convenient. Don’t bring your autoblow device over there.
