Kids Score Big at the Coolest Club in Frisco

Did you know that Frisco has more than 45,000 school-age children? Around here, many households are always on the hunt for events and activities that are free, will entertain the whole family, and are convenient for busy schedules.

If your household fits that bill, here’s a tip: join the Riders Kids Club.

The official kids club for Frisco RoughRiders fans ages 12 and under who love baseball, the Riders Kids Club allows them to enjoy the ballpark with behind the scenes, one-of-a-kind opportunities!

All year long, the ‘Riders bring kid-friendly fun to Dr Pepper Ballpark. When baseball season ends, the fun continues! In fact, some of the Riders Kids Club’s best, free kid-friendly activities happen in the fall and winter.

Trick or Treating at the Ballpark

Recently, Riders Kids Club members received exclusive access at the RoughRiders’ Beers and Boos event, presented by Franconia. The ‘Riders hosted costume contests, face painting, a petting zoo (with a kangaroo!), games, and pumpkin painting.

roughriders PettingzooDr Pepper Ballpark was transformed into a huge trick-or-treat station for all the adorable little princesses, superheroes, and dinosaurs (not to mention the most creative DIY mac and cheese you’ve ever seen).

Everyone knows the best trick-or-treating treasures are the full-size candy bars, so the ‘Riders made sure Kids Club members got the good stuff. Another Kids Club perk featured a scavenger hunt around the ballpark and the chance to have your mini pumpkin reserved for you at the pumpkin painting station.

Dab with Duece in December

The Ballpark is about to transform from a pumpkin patch to a kids’ winter wonderland! On Friday, December 6, 2019 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm, the Frisco RoughRiders will host a community event sure to get your family into the holiday spirit — and into the spirit of giving. The RoughRiders have partnered with local businesses, including Gold Medal Pools, who is an official toy drop off location. When you bring a toy to donate for the Toys for Tots toy drive, admission into the ballpark for the event is free.

If your kids haven’t met Duece yet, bring them to see the loveable large prairie dog and give him a dab or high five! Duece, Daisy, Ted E Bear, and Bull Moose are the team mascots and always a big hit with the kids (and kids at heart).

Take advantage of an opportunity to take your child’s picture with Santa and Mrs. Claus or, another favorite – see the live reindeer! And the fun only gets more magical from there… Sip hot chocolate and watch holiday movies on RiderVision, the HD video board in the outfield.

If holiday shopping already has you scrambling around town, don’t worry. The Riders Outpost store will be open during the event with everything on sale! You’ll get 30% off your total purchase that night to help check a few to-dos off your shopping list.

How do you join the coolest kid’s club in Frisco?

The Riders Kids Club presented by InTouch Credit Union is FREE to all kids 12 and under! Every member receives an exclusive membership card with access to lots of awesome benefits: free tickets to every Sunday home game plus several additional perks like exclusive access to off-season events!

What could be better than FREE tickets to Sunday home games, FREE membership, and FREE perks at events year-round?
