Join us July 3rd for the City of Frisco’s first-ever Hotter ‘n Firecrackers Firefly Run, an exciting prelude to the next day’s 12th annual Frisco Freedom Fest. Participants will receive a t-shirt, glow necklace, glow finisher medal and two LED bracelets to light up the night as you race through Frisco Square.
Immerse yourself in the mesmerizing ‘firefly’ effect, energized by the beat of electronic music pounding throughout the course. Families, organizations, and any other groups are welcome to run as teams. We encourage everyone to wear your best and brightest glow gear!
Registration for the 5k glow run is $25 until June 29 at noon, so sign up now and don’t miss out. The run begins at 9 p.m., and packet pickup information will be posted soon.
Raising Canes will offer tea and lemonade at the event, and The Coney Shop will sell hot dogs with all the fixins’. Organizers also will supply protein bars and bananas to participants.
And speaking of hot dogs, don’t miss the Dachshund Races at 8 p.m. Get ready to cheer on your favorite pooch!
Frisco Freedom Fest, our popular annual Independence Day party, takes place Friday, July 4. So you might just think of Hotter ‘n Firecrackers as your own race toward independence!
