The mission of United Through HOPE (UTH) is to build strong leaders by focusing on the social skills, metacognitive skills, and soft skills necessary to foster resiliency, independence, and a sense of belonging.
UTH believes that all individuals, regardless of disability or circumstance, have the opportunity to become strong leaders when provided with the correct support system and with support beginning in early childhood and continuing through the lifespan.
United Through HOPE provides hope to over 300 families, children, teens, and young adults each week through very low cost social skills groups, meet-ups, family counseling, and opportunities to socialize without being stigmatized and bullied, and instead be accepted and allowed to grow!
In the spring of 202o, UTH’s transitional housing service begins. This is a one year program designed for those wishing to practice TRUE independence and the last step BEFORE living completely on their own. The transitional housing program at UTH is designed for high functioning adults who have demonstrated various pre-requisites and want an opportunity to refine them before doing their final “unenabled” launch.
