The North Texas Community Giving Foundation is dedicated to making an impact in North Texas by supporting local nonprofit organizations who align with our vision of improving the health, education, and welfare of our community.
Established in 2014, the 501(c)(3) resulted from a few individuals who wanted to make a positive impact in their community.
Today, the foundation is able to assist local nonprofits with their programs and project through awareness, service and financial support.
Through the Foundation’s annual event, the Texas Big Star Half Marathon and 5K, we raise funds and provide grants to a variety of local nonprofits.
Since 2015, we have raised more than $250,000 in support of charities serving North Texas and have awarded grants to dozens of deserving organizations. Grant applications are submitted through our website from July 1 to July 31 each year, and grants are announced each September.
