Metro Relief combats poverty, homelessness, and addiction in DFW by bringing mobile resources to the inner cities.
We retrofit passenger buses into mobile resource centers and soup kitchens that go directly to those in our communities who are most vulnerable, lonely, and hurt.
Week after week, our staff and volunteers meet the homeless right on sidewalks, under bridges, and outside of shelters with a simple message:
- We care about you.
- You are not alone.
- Tomorrow can be a better day.
We bring relief, resources, and referrals to help people on their journey out of homelessness. Additionally, Metro Relief’s main office offers crisis assistance, drug and alcohol addiction recovery services, and clothing closet aid.
