Living Proof Cancer Warriors is a non-profit created by two cancer survivors to provide assistance within the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX metroplex to cancer patients. It’s our goal to bring a cancer patient full circle, and back to a healthier state than prior to their cancer diagnosis.
Through our own personal experiences, we understand what is required to reduce stress in a patient’s life and ease the stress they undergo so they can focus on what is important… survival and becoming Living Proof.
The financial costs of a patient often exceed what insurance co-pays and co-insurance covers and often times patients resort to GoFundMe’s or other resources to make ends meet, which causes financial toxicity. Living Proof Cancer Warriors is designed to not only aid them financially but also to offer extended health resources to help them fight cancer.
In 2019, with the generous donations from community partners like GoEnergistics, our annual golf tournament fundraiser raised over $43,000! These funds allowed Living Proof Cancer Warriors to directly support five cancer patients with financial assistance, household expenses, travel, counseling, dietary plans, and fitness programs.
These patients are can now focus on their survival and becoming Living Proof. Together we CAN make a difference in a cancer patient’s life today.
