Girl Scouts is the premier leadership organization for girls in the world. For thousands of girls in Frisco, Girl Scouts is the foundation for becoming their best selves. It’s not just the caring adult mentor and sisterhood of the Girl Scout troop that makes Girl Scouts special. We provide opportunities in Frisco and beyond for ambitious girls to try their hand at activities and adventure like no other girl-serving organization. Girls Scouts provides the social and emotional support along with social interactions, mental wellness and academic supplements, especially in STEM, that girls can’t get anywhere else. To help combat the COVID-19 slide and provide additional academic support, Girl Scouts have access to the 92-acre, outdoor STEM Center of Excellence and virtual STEM programming to supplement science and math learning. The Girl Scout troop experience where girls can interact with one another virtually and through safe in-person meetings can help combat loneliness. To help address mental health needs, Girl Scouts has partnered with experts who have helped design girl-centric mental health programming for all ages. Like never before, our daughters need these opportunities to reach their full potential.
