At the Frisco Family YMCA, we believe everyone should have access to participate, to grow, and to succeed. We typically concentrate our fundraising efforts for children who need assistance in after-school programs, summer day camps, youth sports, and cancer survivor programs. While this effort continued last year, we recognized 2020 put a unique strain on many families in our area. Despite the YMCA facility being closed for a time due to COVID-19, we realized that our communities needed our help more than ever. Throughout the pandemic, the YMCA helped provide thousands of families with free childcare, meals, household essentials, school supplies, laptop computers for distanced learning, and much more.
Your donation to the Frisco Family YMCA will help us continue these efforts as we work to help our community meet the challenges of the ongoing pandemic, as well as our ongoing work to support families and children who want to participate in YMCA programs but do not have the financial means to do so.
Our mission at the YMCA is: To put Christian values into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. We feel strongly about the for all part of our mission as we believe that all community members should have access to all that we offer, regardless of income. Therefore, financial assistance is available for almost every YMCA program. This work is possible thanks to the donors and volunteers who give their time and financial support to the YMCA so generously.
