The mission of Cornerstone Ranch is to empower adults with special needs to live the abundant life they were created for. We provide 24/7 care in a home for six people with disabilities and a thriving day program for 31. There are no other nonprofit residential programs in Collin County to answer the question of where people with special needs will go when their parents can no longer care for them. That need is urgent and dire for many families.
Our “Ranchers” learn to be active members of the community by selling their organic produce at the McKinney Farmer’s Market and they love to serve the community by packing and delivering Meals on Wheels every week. We host therapeutic art and ceramics classes weekly and teach life skills through programs like our cooking class. We are very engaged in the community and attend local high school football games, enjoy meals at local restaurants, and go to church as a family.
The Ranch is a safe place where independence thrives, character grows, and confidence is nurtured.
