North Texas Giving Day, powered by Communities Foundation of Texas, is an 18-hour online giving event designed to empower every person to give back to their community by supporting local nonprofits and causes they care about in one easy step.
The annual event has seen nine years of incredible growth, raising $48 Million in 2018! The largest community-wide giving event in the nation, what began as an idea to raise awareness of nonprofits has become a movement, igniting a broad culture of community-wide giving.

A non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing of abused, neglected, and abandoned horses and farm animals. Frisco Association for the Arts
The city’s official arts advocacy agency whose mission it is to advance the arts in Frisco by raising the visibility of the arts in our community. Additionally, Frisco Arts has awarded over $50K in scholarships to students pursuing a career in the arts.
The goal of the National Videogame Museum is to document, FIRST-HAND, as much information about the creation and evolution of the videogame industry as possible and preserve as many physical artifacts as possible for generations to come.
Dedicated to saving the history of one of the fastest-growing cities in Texas and the nation, their mission is to research, preserve, and share Frisco’s rich heritage in a manner that honors the past, builds a bridge between generations, and leaves a legacy for the future. Friends of the Frisco Public Library
The Friends of the FPL build awareness of the need for expanding library services and accept gifts, endowments, and memorials for the benefit of the library. The North Texas Community Giving Foundation
The North Texas Community Giving Foundation is dedicated to making an impact in North Texas by supporting local nonprofit organizations who align with the organization’s vision of improving the health, education, and welfare of our community. Since 2015, they have raised more than $150,000 in support of charities serving North Texas and have awarded grants to dozens of deserving organizations.
Through programs and services such as food distribution, emergency financial assistance, adult life-skills classes, and several seasonal programs, Frisco Family Services helps members of our Frisco and Frisco ISD communities who are facing hunger, homelessness, and other urgent needs improve their quality of life and achieve self-sufficiency. At Camp Craig Allen, they encourage self-awareness, positive influence, and independence in therapeutic and educational programs in an accessible environment that promotes the abilities and talents of those with the most physical challenges. The organization’s main goal is to build a completely barrier-free campus in Frisco, to serve all disabled athletes and persons with a wide range of physical disabilities, and provide workforce opportunities. During a trip with his parents to Austin, Jake (then 3), became curious about the many homeless people he saw while exploring downtown Austin. During the entire drive home, Jake and his parents talked about the issue of homelessness and what they could do to help. Five years later, Jake is still on a mission to help solve homelessness in America.
Mankind is a non-profit corporation benefiting men in medical crisis. Their mission is “to help save the lives of men and end suffering by increasing education, awareness, and by helping those affected with financial assistance.”

The Family Place empowers victims of family violence by providing safe housing, counseling and skills that create independence while building community engagement and advocating for social change to stop family violence. The RoughRiders Foundation supports programs and organizations in our community that motivate and reward children and families in the areas of education, good health, and community service activities.
They currently run a transitional living program for young women (Blake’s House) who have aged out of foster care or who are homeless without other supports (between the age of 18-25), and will launch one for young men within the next year (His House). JRO – North Texas Giving Day
The Samaritan Inn is a comprehensive homeless program that helps willing people gain dignity and independence. The Orchid Giving Circle Fund at the Dallas Women’s Foundation is a group of Asian women pooling resources to provide community grants that support social change and services for North Texas Asians. OHH is working diligently to initiate housing assistance for the over 5000+ homeless in the DFW area. It was started by an 8 year-old who was touched by the homelessness and poverty in Dallas.
Denton County Friends of the Family

Hope’s Door New Beginning Center

United Through HOPE provides hope to over 300 families, children, teens, and young adults each week through very low cost social skills groups, meet-ups, family counseling, and opportunities to socialize without being stigmatized and bullied, and instead be accepted and allowed to grow! Metro Relief combats poverty, homelessness, and addiction in DFW by bringing mobile resources to the inner cities. The organization retrofits passenger buses into mobile resource centers and soup kitchens that go directly to those in our communities who are most vulnerable, lonely, and hurt. Frisco Moms Care is devoted to enhancing the community through local service projects, promoting hospitality and goodwill through acts of kindness, and providing socialization among a sisterhood of moms. The American Fallen Soldiers Project
The American Fallen Soldiers Project was formed to help provide comfort and healing to the grieving families of America’s fallen military through the provision of an original portrait of their fallen loved one that fully captures their appearance and personality.
Project RELO provides immersive training to corporate executives and top talent. The training missions are conducted on American military bases where participants and transitioning veteran instructors conduct multi-day pseudo military operations, allowing participants to develop a deep understanding about the character, quality, and full extent of veterans’ skills. Strategically located in low-income neighborhoods, BGCCC provides a safe, positive environment during the most vulnerable hours of a child’s day, the after-school hours. The mission of Frisco Fastpacs is to ensure that no child in Frisco has to endure hunger when school is not in session. Every week throughout the school year, the organization delivers individual pre-packed bags to FISD schools that include enough food for 7 meals for each qualifying child for them to eat over the weekend at home. Kids Shouldn’t Have Cancer Foundation in Memory of Jonny Wade
Despite his brave battle, young Jonny Wade died of cancer in 2015. Even on his toughest days, he believed he could make a difference. His greatest wish was that no other kid should have cancer and go through what he did. The organization seeks to honor that selfless wish with their mission to conquer pediatric cancer through research and political action, with an emphasis on responsible spending.
What began as a 6-bed teen shelter in 1988 has grown into a 48-bed, multi-faceted agency serving at-risk youth and young adults in Collin County. City House operates the only emergency children’s shelter (known as My Friend’s House) for ages newborn to 17 years and specializes in large sibling groups. Clothe a Child seeks to address the clothing needs of economically disadvantaged children in our communities through partnerships with Frisco, Little Elm, Prosper & Celina ISDs, churches, friends & businesses. Evan’s Avengers’ mission is to raise funds for national childhood cancer research programs, to build awareness that less than 4% of the National Institute of Health’s annual funding supports childhood cancer research, and to support inpatient programs.
