Vacation Bible School is a fun way for kiddos to get out of the house & meet new friends all at the same time. Not to mention a break for mom and dad as the summer heats up!
While many are free, providing crafts, singing, practical lessons, and the infamous “cookies & punch,” I’ve also seen the price of admission taken in the form of teddy bears that are donated to a children’s hospital or canned goods for the local food pantry. So, whoever has a desire for their child to attend, options are available.
All in all a GREAT way to teach our future generation about giving, love, and service. I’m sure there are many more in the area, but here is a good list to start with for summer Vacation Bible School plans for your kiddos. Make sure and check with the ones you’re interested in because they may have an online registration deadline!
