Spring is in the air and everyone wants to be outside as much as possible. This time of year we look forward to using the Parks and Trails more often, hanging out at Frisco Rail Yard, listening to live music on a great patio… And for many Frisco residents, we perhaps look most forward to the Frisco StrEATS Gourmet Food, Truck and Music Festival!
Now in its 7th year, this firm family favorite will take place in the Frisco Rail District on April 14, 2018 from 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
The Festival is presented by the Frisco Downtown Merchants Association, a nonprofit organization that supports and promotes the growth of downtown Frisco and its retailers.
StrEATS Gourmet Food Truck and Music Festival is the longest-running food truck event in North Texas,” said Mark. “This is our 7th annual event and it’s the first time we’ve held the event in “The Rail District.”
If you need a little convincing as to what’s so fantastic about a food truck festival…
5 Reasons to Love Food Trucks
- Food trucks bring gourmet food to the masses! (It’s a little bit like Legacy Hall, but closer to home.)
- Food trucks are fun for the whole family! It can hard to find one restaurant that satisfies both young and mature pallets with varying likes and dislikes. Dad can have Cuban American, Mom can have Vietnamese, the kids can have gourmet quesadillas…
- Food trucks have a knack for creating community. There’s something special about congregating outside with neighbors who share your love for good food, good people, and good music.
- Food trucks are delicious. These are not hot dog stands. These are legitimate Chefs with incredible talent!
- With an abundance of new restaurants in Frisco, it’s clear we like to eat around here. Food trucks are foodie culture at its finest!
What’s on the Menu?

What Else is Happening at the Festival?

Frisco Resale will be in attendance providing information about all of their great work and their primary focus to prevent hunger in their community. They encourage anyone visiting the festival that day to bring a Food Pantry donation to their vendor tent, for which you’ll receive 10% off your entire purchase at the booth that day.
Other vendors who will be in attendance include: Once Upon a Dream Boutique | Excessive Carts | Toyota of Plano | Sassy Bubbles | Title Boxing Club | Lula Roe | Rockstar Martial Arts | JD Kettle Corn | Wild Bills Soda | Kona Ice | JBW Vending | The Dough Box | Texas Fit Chicks
Many of Frisco’s sports teams will be well represented, including the Dallas Cowboys, the FriscoRoughRiders, the Texas Legends, the Texas Revolution, and the newest team to join Sports City USA, the Dallas Rattlers.
