As the Frisco Square Property Owners Association, NBC Channel 5, and the City of Frisco announce the 12th Anniversary of Christmas in the Square which begins November 25th and runs nightly through January 1st, Frisco Square Property Owners Association also proudly presents Skate the Square Outdoor Ice Rink, which opens on Friday, November 25th and continues through January 1st. This real ice skating rink is 44 feet by 66 feet located at the southwest corner of Main Street and Coleman Blvd. across from Toyota Stadium in Frisco Square.
On Friday, November 25th at 5:45 pm, Frisco Square will host Team USA International ice skaters Kristen Nardozzi and Nick Traxler at the Grand Opening of Skate the Square. Together and with previous partners they have competed and medaled nationally and internationally for Team USA. They have competed at the U.S. Open Professional Skating Championships the past two years and perform in shows around the United States.
Skate the Square will be available Monday through Thursday between the hours of 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. and Friday through Sunday Noon to 10 p.m. except on Christmas Day and weather permitting.
