The Heritage Association of Frisco, in cooperation with the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco (VAGF), and Frisco Arts, is sponsoring a juried art show, “THEN & NOW.” The opening for the show will coincide with The Heritage Association’s annual Shawnee Trail Cowboy Day on November 8, 2014. All entrants will receive a pass to the event.
Entries will be accepted in the categories of Painting, Drawing, Photography, and Sculpture. Subject matter should be traditional or contemporary western themes.
Entry fee is $30 for two pieces. Please submit JPEGs to brenda.g.thomas@gmail.com no later than October 24. Include dimensions, medium, and title of pieces. Accepted works must be delivered to the Frisco Heritage Museum, 6455 Page Street, Frisco, 75034 on Saturday, November 1, between 1-4pm. Shipped entries must reach the Heritage Museum no later than Friday, October 31. Prizes will be awarded at the “Then & Now” Opening Reception, Friday, November 7th, between 7-9pm.
The Heritage Association of Frisco, Inc., established in 1998, has identified and marked 32 historic sites in and around Frisco. While not all sites are still in existence today, many can be visited with the use of this map. We urge you to respect private property while enjoying a drive or a walk through Frisco’s history.
