It’s that time of year again when our fluffy big-eared friend drops by to share Easter Eggs and treats with us! The Easter holiday also marks the unofficial start of spring, warmer temperatures, and a chance to embrace the outdoors before the triple-digit heat arrives later in the season. Picnics, park time, sports, boat rides, and of course, Easter Egg hunts!
While many neighborhoods organize their own HOA egg hunts, there are also a lot of fun events taking place all around Frisco (and many of them are free)!
Egg Hunt Events
Aqua Egg Hunt at the Frisco Athletic Center, Saturday, April 6. Children will gather toy-filled eggs, enjoy crafts, and have the opportunity to take pictures with the Easter Bunny and other roaming characters. A mesh bag will be provided to collect the eggs in the pool, but just remember to bring a basket to take your eggs home. Egg Hunts will be staggered over 2 sessions and by age (ranging from 2 – 10 years). Admission includes the egg hunt, crafts, a swim pass for the day and a special treat from the Easter Bunny.
Learning Express Toys – Easter Bunny Meet and Craft: Sunday, April 7, 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm, The Easter Bunny will hop his way to Learning Express! Make sure to stop in and grab a picture with this friendly rabbit. He loves hugs!
Nature Eggsplorers: An Egg Hunt Event presented by Play Frisco: Saturday, April 13, 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Frisco Commons Park, 8000 McKinney Road. Participate in an egg hunt done ‘Play Frisco’ style! No hurried count or race for the most eggs. This year, scout for eggs in small groups at a comfortable pace through the beautiful trees, take your photo with the Easter bunny, have your face painted, or get a balloon twisted into art. Our Frisco community partners will also be there to teach explorers about conservation, nature, recycling, and health and wellness. Event is free but tickets required. Suitable for children aged 4-10 years. Update: This event is SOLD OUT.
Every Life Matters Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs: Saturday, April 13, 12:00 pm – 3.00 pm. 3rd Annual Doggie Easter Egg Hunt will start at 1:00 pm! Bring the family to join in the fun with face painting, prizes, treats for your pup(s) and pictures with Easter Bunny! A $10 donation (directly benefiting the rescue pups) gets you a ticket for the egg hunt! Search carefully, as there are prize eggs hidden throughout the space. Don’t forget your basket.
Easter Egg Hunt at Jungle Joes: Sunday, April 14, 12.00 pm – 2:00 pm. Get ready for the biggest and best indoor egg hunt you’ve ever seen! They’re hiding eggs all over Jungle Joe’s with fun prizes. Also enjoy an arts and crafts project, plus a visit from the Easter Bunny!
Elevate Life Church Easter at the Cathedral and Outdoor Festivities: Saturday, April 20, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, come out for a host of family entertainment and fun. This Easter Egg Hunt will have over 100,000 filled eggs (remember to bring a basket). In addition, you can see a full classic car, truck, and motorcycle show presented my Mustang Sally, multiple bounce houses and activities plus get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Food and beverages by some of the finest food truck cuisine in DFW. All activities are free and open to the public.
Sip and Hop ‘Adults Only’ Egg Hunt at The Star: Thursday, April 18, join us for an adults-only Easter Egg Hunt at The Star in Frisco featuring light bites and small sips at participating restaurants. Each attendee will get a goody bag to fill to the brim with prize eggs and special offers at participating businesses and restaurants around Entertainment District of The Star.
Easter at The Star: Saturday, April 18 – 21. Celebrate Easter weekend at The Star in Frisco. Enjoy an egg hunt, a church service, activities for kids and more. Admission and parking are free! For specific event times, visit their website.
13th annual Easter Family Fun Day at Water’s Edge Church: Saturday, April 20, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Exciting games, activities, goodies, crafts, bounce houses, face painting, and of course, the Easter Egg Hunt!

Learning Express Toys of Frisco Craft Events: Wednesday, April 10, 11:00 am – 12:00 noon stop by the store for Egg Story and craft time and Saturday, April 17, 11:00 – 12:00 noon enjoy a Bunny Story and Craft. Each event is free and suitable for kids aged 1.5 – 5 years.
Llama Llama Easter Egg painting and story time at Make Expression: Wednesday, April 10, 10.30 am – 12:00 pm. A reading from one of everyone’s favorite books and kids can paint a beautiful ceramic egg (one egg per participant). Ages 2 – 5 years. Limited spots available.
Easter Egg Painting Party at Color Me Mine: April 13, 9:00 am – 11:00 am. Paint beautiful ceramic Easter Eggs at the studio and display them year after year! Take advantage of painting stations set up for you to try out a variety of cool paint techniques. Price includes 3 eggs, instruction, and the studio fee. The Easter Bunny will be stopping by for a visit, so be sure to have your camera ready!
Portraits with the Easter Bunny
Hop on over to visit with the Easter Bunny at Stonebriar Mall: From March 31 – April 20, see the Easter Bunny in front at Dillards Court downstairs from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm with extended hours to 9:00 pm on certain dates. Special photo packages are available, however, photo purchases and reservations are not required to visit the Easter Bunny. On Monday evenings from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, bring your cats or dogs to visit, too, and get a paw-fect photo!
Easter Bunny Event at Keller Williams: Saturday, April 6, 2:00 pm. Families will enjoy free professional photos with the Easter Bunny along with crafts, snacks, and fun. 4783 Preston Road, Suite 100, Frisco.
Meet the Easter Bunny at PetSmart Frisco: April 13 – 14, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm bring the whole family and your furry friend to take a cute photo with the Easter Bunny. Receive a free digital photo via email or feel free to take photos on your own device.
Easter theme Yoga for Charity at Frisco Fresh Market: Saturday, April 13th, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Come and enjoy a happy-vibes yoga class in a relaxing atmosphere while adorable piggies and bunnies oink, hop, and play all around you! It’s your cuddle therapy and cuteness overload to melt away life’s negativity! Plus, stick around for open playtime and pictures with our furry Easter bunnies. Not into yoga, but still want cute Easter pics? There are ticket options for only the picture and playtime during the second hour. This fun time serves as a FUNdraiser for the Here’s Your Reminder Project whose mission is to combat depression and anxiety.
‘Pic with a Chick’ Easter Event at Frisco Fresh Market: Saturday, April 20, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Come out to the Frisco Fresh Market and take a super cute pic with an even cuter chick! Their vendor 3BN Ranch will bring a handful of their chicks. This event will be educational too, as 3BN Ranch’s kids will tell everyone more about the chicks.
