“LEGO® Americana Roadshow” – Stonebriar mall hosts The LEGO® Americana Roadshow, bringing larger-than-life LEGO® replicas of some of our nation’s beloved landmarks to the shopping center for all to enjoy. The free Americana Roadshow opens at 2pm on Memorial Day weekend and is on display until Sunday, June 7. The LEGO® Americana Roadshow presents 10 one-of-a-kind, large scale models of American landmarks made completely out of LEGO® bricks by LEGO® master builders – including the U.S. Capitol Building, White House, Supreme Court, Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Statue of Liberty, Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell and Old North Church. The two-week exhibition will take over Stonebriar mall to entertain shoppers with stunning visuals and a host of fun activities.

“Frisco Kids Consign” – FKC specializes in high-quality, gently worn children’s clothing from newborn to teens, plus maternity clothing, shoes, toys, books, games, DVDs, baby equipment, kid’s sports equipment, and furniture. This spring/summer event will take place over three days, Friday May 29, through Sunday, May 31. For the first time ever, FKC is partnering with Frisco Moms (or find them on facebook) in a fundraising effort. Frisco Moms members can gain access to the Thursday Pre-Sale at a designated time by donating an item that is currently a high priority “in need” item.
“EAT YOUR VEGGIES” – At 10am, this Junior Chef veg-tacular class teaches how to make vegetables the stars of the plate. Kids learn what’s in season at the farmers’ market and how to select veggies that are ripe and ready to eat, plus some fun ways to prepare and serve. Suitable for ages 5 to 13. Reservations are required at (972) 712-9455 or stop by Williams-Sonoma, located on the lower level near the main entrance to Stonebriar Mall. No charge to attend. An adult must remain with the child during the classes.

“Fiddler on the Roof, Jr. – Frisco Youth Theatre” – At 7:15pm in Black Box Theater, the newly christened Frisco Youth Theatre (the Frisco branch of Plano Children’s Theatre) is performing the junior version of the traditional musical, directed by Melinda Bellatti. “Jimmy Buffett Workin’ n’ Playin’ Tour 2015” – DFW, the wait is over. Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band, together with special guest Huey Lewis & The News will perform at Toyota Stadium for this night only at 7 pm, as part of Jimmy Buffett’s “Workin’ n’ Playin’” Tour 2015.
“2015 Frisco Farmers Market” – Starting at 8am in Frisco Square, a bounty of fresh fruits and vegetables creates a colorful welcome to those who appreciate the “buy fresh, buy local” idea. “Batter Up for Banking w/ Frisco RoughRiders” – Batter Up for Banking, an InTouch Credit Union youth financial literacy program, will bring the Frisco RoughRiders’ players to the ITCU World Cup branch, located in their hometown of Frisco from 10am to 12noon. This free family event mixes education and fun with select players and/or mascots (as scheduling permits), available for pictures or autographs with the public. This is one in a series of five events held this baseball season across North Texas ITCU branches. Kids’ financial workbooks, as well as coloring sheets, are provided and participants will get the chance to win prizes, including tickets to an upcoming ‘Riders game. Refreshments will be available and all activities are provided free of charge.
“Barnes & Noble Frisco Hosts Ziglar Speaker and Author Mike Rodriguez” -Join Barnes & Noble from 2pm to 3:30 pm at Stonebriar Mall, as they host Internationally known Ziglar speaker and Author Mike Rodriguez. Mike has been seen on CBS and has spoken at Baylor University. Mike will be speaking about and signing his new book “Finding Your WHY” – Discover Your Purpose. In this book Author Mike Rodriguez delivers profound strategies and insight into discovering your own life’s purpose. “Finding Your WHY,” allows people to focus on a bigger purpose for their life and to shift their mindset from that of living a routine, to taking action and learning how to move through life’s challenges. Rodriguez wrote this book around his well-known quote “As long as you are breathing your life has value, and with that, you have a responsibility to yourself and to others to fulfill your purpose.” This event is free to the public.

“Children’s Story Time” – Children invited for Story Time every Tuesday in June at 11 a.m. in Pottery Barn Kids at Stonebriar mall invites kids to stop in for Story Time every Tuesday in June at 11 a.m. The cool, out-of-the-sun sessions are set for June 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30. On Tuesday, June 16, Story Time will have a special focus on fathers. At their first Story Time, children will receive an official Book Club Card. The Card is stamped for each attendance. When the Card has five stamps, the child will receive a special gift. Story Time is presented compliments of Pottery Barn Kids and reservations are not required. A parent/caregiver is required to remain. Pottery Barn Kids is on the upper level near the Food Court.
“Frisco City Council Meeting” – The Frisco City Council typically meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month inside the City Council Chamber at the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd. Citizens are welcome to attend the open meeting, which generally begins at 6:30 p.m. Citizens’ input is heard at approximately 7:30 p.m.

“Music in the Square” – Every Saturday evening in June starting June 6th, join us on the Simpson Plaza lawn, in front of City Hall for Frisco Square’s featured summer event, MUSIC IN THE SQUARE. Bring friends and family, grab a picnic, some blankets or chairs, and under the nighttime stars, enjoy listening to a unique line-up of talented musicians between 7:30 and 9:00 PM. Admission is free.
