“Super Friday Fun Nights” – From the popular Super Summer Fun Days summer camp, comes a new, but familiar program on Friday nights. Super Friday Fun Nights is a structured evening of swimming, games, pizza and fun! Kids will swim in the Indoor Aquatic Center (Outdoor Aquatic Center during summer hours), and escape to the ‘Zone’ for air hockey, ping pong, foosball, and more. We end the night with fun and active cooperative games in our studios and gym. Check-in/out at the Zone!

“Family Fun Day for People Who Stutter” – The National Stuttering Association will host a Family Fun Day at Heritage High School, 14040 Eldorado Parkway in Frisco. The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event’s speakers and facilitators will provide information and support to young children and teens who stutter, their families, and professionals who work with them. Registration for the Family Fun Day is available on-site, and preregistration online is encouraged.
“Texas Rangers Winter Caravan Visits Frisco” – The Texas Rangers Winter Caravan will make its annual visit to Dr Pepper Ballpark, the home of the Frisco RoughRiders. At this free event, fans will have the opportunity to meet and collect autographs from some of their favorite Rangers players, including some former ’Riders who have gone on to star in the big leagues. The gates at Dr Pepper Ballpark will open at 1:30 p.m. and fans will be able to purchase ballpark concessions at the event. Fans will also have the opportunity to order ticket packages to see RoughRiders games during the 2015 season.

“Emoji: Express Yourself” – Frisco Arts is hosting an open art exhibition in the Discovery Center for artists ages 15 and up. Emoticons are used in texting to convey nuances of feelings such as love, goofiness, sadness, anger, fright, and happiness. How do you express your emotions in art? A variety of artistic mediums will be on display. Come for refreshments and a chance to meet some of the artists on Wednesday, February 11, from 7-9PM in the Frisco Art Gallery. Questions? “Frisco City Council Meeting” – The Frisco City Council typically meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month inside the City Council Chamber at the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd. Citizens are welcome to attend the open meeting, which generally begins at 6:30 p.m. Citizens’ input is heard at approximately 7:30 p.m.
