Christmas in the Square: 6pm – 10pm Frisco Square becomes a winter wonderland.
Skate the Square Outdoor Ice Rink at Frisco Square, Nov. 29 – Jan. 4, 2014. This real ice skating rink is 36’ x 63’ and is located at the southwest corner of Main Street and Coleman Blvd. across from Toyota Stadium in Frisco. Skate the Square is open Monday – Thursday from 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. and Friday – Sunday, noon -10 p.m. except on Christmas Day and weather permitting. Ice skating cost is $10 per person, per day, including skate rentals.

Frisco Gun Club GRAND OPENING at 10am. The $12 million Frisco Gun Club will officially open to the public with Grand Opening ceremonies, including a ceremonial ribbon shooting! There will be giveaways, chance drawings, a grand opening sale and on-range shooting demonstrations and tips by internationally ranked marksman Jason Koon. “It’s a Wonderful Life” in Newman Village: Rescheduled from last Friday night, ring in the holidays in the magical setting of Newman Village’s central plaza. From 6-9pm, enjoy a snow hill for sledding, face painting, ice skating rink, horse-drawn carriage rides, choo choo train rides, hot cocoa, and a Visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. 23rd Annual Merry Main Street – Only the Kids Holiday Store and the lighting of the Christmas tree will taking place.
Holiday Lights at Frisco Fire Safety Town to begin this week: rom 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, Fri. Dec. 20 and Sat. Dec. 21. The free event has the town decorated in holiday lights for the season. People can also enjoy arts and crafts and live music performances by local school groups. Children can get their photo taken with Santa in the miniature fire station. 4th Annual Polar Express Pajama Party! 4PM, Saturday, Dec 14 & Sunday, Dec 15; Special Events Center inside Frisco Discovery Center, 8004 North Dallas Pkwy. Holiday Music from Frisco Chorale: Join the Frisco Chorale for some festive music in the NEW auditorium at Frisco High School at 7PM. Tickets are $15.
“The Frosty 5k and Merry Mile” will race through Simpson Plaza at City Hall. Prizes will be presented to top runners, including the best overall, as well as best three male and female age group finishers. Awards also will go to largest team, best t-shirt and costume, most creative team and best spirit.
“Frisco StarFest” is held at sundown in Frisco Commons weather permitting. Frisco StarFest is a public astronomy event co-sponsored by the Texas Astronomical Society of Dallas and the Frisco Parks Dept. On the 2nd Saturday of every month (weather permitting), the park lights go out and the telescopes look up. Join us at Frisco Commons Park for this family-friendly event as telescope owners and volunteers let the public look through their telescopes. This free event is designed to ignite interest in space and astronomy.
North Texas Kettlebell Competition: Full Throttle Athletics is excited to announce that it will be hosting the first ever North Texas Open Kettlebell Competition, operated by fellow kettlebell sport club, the Orange Kettlebell Club from Orange County, California. 10am to 6pm; Similar to a track and field event, lifters will compete in flights throughout the day. Supporters are welcome to come and go, as the event is scheduled to end at 6 p.m.

Animals, other than those servicing the disabled, are not allowed in the shopping centers other than during on Pet Nights.] Photo packages start at $23.

“PJ Tuesdays With Santa” at Stonebriar mall Mall. Kids can wear their pajamas for a cute, cozy photo with Santa. Santa’s elves will be on hand to capture the moment. Photo packages start at $23. Guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots.
